 In our home our furkids come first, and like any home where that's the case you can find dog beds laying pretty much everywhere you look. Some are manufactured, some are hand made, and some are nothing more than a pile of blankets artfully rolled up into a cuddly pile... *lol* Beds and blankets everywhere you look, yep... *laughing* That about sums it up. But none of these are appreciated or used as often as Nico's Chilly Dog bed.
Nico can no longer sleep cuddled up with us in our bed due to an injury. Nico herniated a disk in his back one night when he landed improperly after jumping off the bed. On a restricted movement order from his vet we all found his Chilly Dog bed to be invaluable. It kept him warm and snuggly when I couldn't, and is now where he sleeps every night. Yes, I would love to have him back in our bed but I know it wouldn't be safe (once a dog has herniated a disk they are at a greater risk to have it happen again). But as much as I miss having him cuddled up with me I know my little boy is being kept warm and comfy by his Chilly Dog bed.
I honestly couldn't recommend the Chilly Dog bed any more. Nico loves to dig down deep into the warm fake fur. This bed is the perfect dog bed for a small dog! A nice big plush pillow surrounded by a furry case and built in fuzzy blanket -- which is kept open by a hoop... it also washes like a dream. *lol*  Just pull out the hoop and the pillow and pop it into the machine. *smiles* Gotta love that.
Nico doesn't use his Chilly Dog bed with the hoop any more, he prefers to dig his way in, rather than to have it held open for him. *smiles* Silly fart. *grins* We honestly couldn't provide a more glowing review. The Chilly Dog bed is the best bed we've ever come across. And it makes me happy knowing how much Nico loves it. It keeps him warm and comfortable, even when I can't -- and that's saying a lot about a bed. The Chilly Dog bed by Jo Widness is one item that has very deservedly earned Nico's approval.
